Aruṇ Lūthrā has been one of the premiere saxophonists and composers on New York’s jazz scene for well over a decade. As an exponent of the South Indian vocal percussion discipline of konnakol, he is one of the rare jazz musicians who has made this art form an integral part of his performances — creating a vibrant new sound that bridges post-bop jazz and Indian classical music.

He has shared the stage with Billy Harper, Kenny Garrett, Mike Stern, The Temptations, Frankie Valli, and many more, performing across the US, Japan, the UK, Europe, Australia, and South America.
